Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVA Fund)

The Motor Vehicle Accident Fund of Namibia is statutorily mandated to design, promote and implement crash and injury prevention measures. It provides assistance and benefits to all people injured and the dependants of those killed in motor vehicle crashes in accordance with the MVA Fund Act No.10 of 2007.

Nambia Medical Care (NMC)

Namibia Medical Care is a registered open medical aid fund that offers cover to Namibians against medical expenses. The Fund is managed by the NMC Board of Trustees and an appointed Principal Officer in accordance with the Registered NMC Rules, the guidance of the Medical Aid Funds Act 23 of 1995 and other applicable legislation.

NAMDEB

Namdeb is a wholly owned subsidiary of Namdeb Holdings (Proprietary) Limited Holdings which is owned in equal shares (50:50) by the Government of the Republic of Namibia and De Beers. Namdeb performs land-based prospecting (exploration), mining and rehabilitation operation and services for Namdeb Holdings.

Namibia Health Plan (NHP)

Namibia Health Plan (NHP) was established in 1995 to provide a world class, uniquely Namibian medical aid plan to help cover medical costs.

Public Service Employee Medical Aid Scheme

NAMMED

NAMMED was established on 1 February 1990 by the Namibian Agricultural Union, with Old Mutual as the administrator. After independence the Fund was established with the aim of providing Namibian Farmers with Medical Aid to ensure medical cover and certainty. In collaboration with the Medical Aid Funds Act 23 of 1995 NAMMED was registered NAMFISA and adhered to all the regulatory requirements.
